Eaton has announced a collaboration with Tesla to simplify and enhance the integration of home energy storage and solar installations. Set for release in early 2025, this joint solution will streamline energy management and extend backup power during grid outages. Paul Ryan, general manager of Connected Solutions at Eaton, stated, “By leveraging the joint expertise and expansive installed base of Eaton and Tesla, we’re planning to bring a solution to the mainstream market that utilizes dynamic, automated energy load management to intelligently extend available battery duration in an outage.”
The collaboration will be showcased at RE+ 24 in Anaheim, California, where both companies will exhibit their solutions. Eaton’s secure-by-design components meet rigorous cybersecurity standards, reinforcing their leadership in safe and reliable energy management.
