Stellantis Pro One and IVECO have joined forces to introduce two fully electric IVECO-branded vans to the European market, set for launch in mid-2026. This collaboration enhances IVECO’s electric vehicle lineup, offering mid-size and large vans manufactured at Stellantis’ plants in Italy, Poland, and France. Aimed at supporting sustainable mobility, the partnership leverages Stellantis’ expertise in electric vehicle technology and IVECO’s robust distribution network. The ten-year agreement underscores a shared commitment to reducing carbon emissions and meeting the growing demand for eco-friendly commercial vehicles.
Key Highlights
- New Electric Models: Two battery electric vans, with Gross Vehicle Weights (GVW) ranging from 2.8 to 4.25 tons, will join IVECO’s portfolio.
- Production Sites: Manufactured at Stellantis’ facilities in Atessa (Italy), Gliwice (Poland), and Hordain (France).
- Market Expansion: Exclusively sold and serviced through IVECO’s European network, including the UK, starting mid-2026.
- Sustainability Focus: Supports the shift to greener transport, aligning with Stellantis’ carbon net zero goal by 2038 and IVECO’s decarbonization strategy.
This partnership marks a pivotal step in the commercial vehicle sector. Stellantis Pro One, a division of Stellantis N.V., brings its leadership in light commercial vehicles (LCVs) to the table, producing vans that complement IVECO’s existing eDaily model. These new vans, ranging from 2.8 to 3.1 tons and 3.5 to 4.25 tons, cater to diverse business needs, particularly last-mile logistics. IVECO, part of Iveco Group N.V., will distribute these vehicles across Europe, enhancing its reputation as a full-line player in sustainable transport solutions.
The collaboration is built on a decade-long supply agreement, reflecting a long-term vision for eco-conscious innovation. Luca Sra, President of Iveco Group’s Truck Business Unit, emphasized the partnership’s value: “We are excited to add two innovative and versatile battery electric vans to our Light Commercial Vehicle line-up, boosting our competitiveness in the van segment.” Similarly, Jean Philippe Imparato, COO of Stellantis for Enlarged Europe, noted, “We are proud to collaborate with an Italian and world-leading company like IVECO,” highlighting the operational excellence driving this initiative.
For Stellantis Pro One, this aligns with its Dare Forward 2030 plan, targeting a 40% electric vehicle mix and a 100% BEV sales mix for passenger cars in Europe by 2030. IVECO, meanwhile, strengthens its multi-energy approach, integrating battery electric technology alongside bio-methane and fuel cell innovations. Together, they aim to deliver efficient, low-emission solutions to European customers, reinforcing their roles in the global push for sustainable mobility.
