Electrify Commercial, a business unit of Electrify America, in collaboration with Rocky Mountain Power, a division of PacifiCorp, announced the opening of the first hyper-fast charging stations in Millcreek and Vernal, Utah. This move is part of a larger initiative to support the adoption of electric vehicles in Utah, with plans to establish 20 charging stations across the Salt Lake area and its surrounding communities.
The newly opened charging stations, owned by Rocky Mountain Power, will be featured on Electrify America’s coast-to-coast “locate a charger” map. This map includes more than 950 stations and over 4,250 chargers throughout the United States and Canada. Electrify Commercial provides industry-leading hyper-fast charging equipment, along with comprehensive installation, networking, and ongoing operations and maintenance services. These hyper-fast chargers offer speeds of up to 350 kilowatts, ensuring speed and convenience for electric vehicle drivers.
Pricing at these stations is set by Rocky Mountain Power, which also offers a discounted rate to its utility customers. Drivers will have the ability to access and seamlessly pay for charging services through the Electrify America mobile app.
