EXEED has introduced the VX Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle to the United Arab Emirates market. The company describes the seven-seat SUV as the world’s first quad-motor all-wheel-drive PHEV, targeting business users and families seeking performance combined with extended range capability.

Powertrain and Chassis Specifications
The VX PHEV combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with three electric motors to achieve its combined output figures. Pure electric range is rated at 160km under NEDC testing protocols.
EXEED notes the powertrain technology was selected for display at China’s “14th Five-Year Plan Achievements Exhibition.”
The chassis features what the company calls a “Flying Fish” suspension architecture paired with a CDC electromagnetic damper system. According to EXEED, the system scans road conditions thousands of times per second and adjusts damping response in milliseconds.
Interior and Technology Features
The cabin spans three rows within the 2,900mm wheelbase. A 40.2-inch triple-screen display system runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor.
Seating amenities include:
- Front passenger “Queen Seat” with ventilation, heating, and massage functions
- Second-row seats equipped with heating, ventilation, and leg rests
- iFLYTEK 23-speaker audio system throughout the cabin
Exterior Design Elements
The VX PHEV features a horizontal grille design and full-width LED tail lights. The body incorporates flowing character lines across its five-meter length.
Safety Systems
Structural protection relies on a body constructed with 85% high-strength steel. Passive safety includes 10 airbags, while active protection comes from 26 advanced driver-assistance systems.
