Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group has opened its Global Spare Part Distribution Center in Hangzhou, China, expanding the automaker’s aftersales infrastructure for commercial vehicle customers and distribution partners worldwide. The center is meant to coordinate spare parts resources across Farizon’s international operations, with the goal of improving inventory management, shortening delivery lead times and increasing the reliability of parts supply for overseas fleets. The opening drew representatives from Farizon’s international business, supply-chain and operations teams alongside executives from Geely Auto Group’s logistics, delivery and spare parts divisions.
Overseas Growth Is Driving the Aftersales Push
Farizon has been building out its presence in international commercial vehicle markets, from the Farizon SV electric van entering markets like the UK to new energy heavy trucks such as the Farizon G Truck Product Series. As that overseas fleet grows, parts availability becomes a bigger factor in keeping vehicles on the road, and Farizon says the new Hangzhou facility is intended to support faster responses to local market needs as its footprint expands.
Vehicle Uptime Is the Business Case
Reliable parts supply carries particular weight for commercial vehicle operators, where downtime translates directly into lost productivity and higher operating costs. Farizon frames the new center as support for the full vehicle lifecycle rather than a one-time infrastructure upgrade, aiming to keep fleet customers, distributors and service partners consistently stocked.
Built on Geely’s Shared Logistics Network
The center also draws on logistics, warehousing and supply-chain capabilities shared across Geely’s broader automotive operations under the company’s “One Geely” strategy, pairing Farizon’s commercial vehicle aftersales network with resources from Geely’s passenger vehicle business.
“The launch of the Global Spare Part Distribution Center represents an important step in strengthening our international customer support capabilities,” said Cook Xue, CEO of Farizon Auto International. “As our global business grows, we are continuing to invest in the infrastructure required to provide dependable, responsive and locally relevant aftersales services.”
Farizon says it plans to keep expanding its global service network to meet the needs of fleet customers, distributors and service partners, with the stated aim of improving vehicle uptime and the ownership experience as its international operations grow.
