GAC is positioning the GS7, a large plug-in hybrid SUV, as a key model in its overseas expansion as the automaker’s proprietary-brand exports reached 26,978 units in August, up 177% year over year. According to GAC, the GS7 served as one of its flagship models when the company entered Ghana and drew industry attention at an auto show in Australia. The company says January–August exports totaled 172,008 units, up 136% from a year earlier.
GS7 Design and Australian Showing
The GS7’s front fascia uses a full-width light strip integrated with 2,248 LEDs. GAC says the lighting design reflects its exploration of future mobility and broadens the brand’s product appeal in the Australian market.
GAC also held its All-Australia Dealer Conference in Sydney to consolidate local partner resources for long-term market development. The company reports that its terminal sales in Australia rose 84% month over month in August.
What Models Did GAC Launch in Ghana?
