Production Partnership Framework
Wei Heigang, President of GAC INTERNATIONAL, characterized Europe as a critical component of the company’s global development strategy. The partnership enables localized assembly operations designed to serve European customers with battery-electric vehicles incorporating GAC’s technology architecture.
Roland Prettner, President of Magna Complete Vehicles, noted the collaboration demonstrates OEM confidence in Magna’s contract manufacturing capabilities. The Graz facility provides production flexibility and capacity for automakers pursuing localized European manufacturing strategies.
AION V Market Entry Strategy
The AION V electric SUV achieved a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP before market introduction. Initial distribution commenced in Finland, Poland and Portugal.
GAC plans progressive European market expansion through development of partnerships, service infrastructure and sales networks. The timeline and specific markets for additional launches were not disclosed.
