FLO, a North American leader in electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, in partnership with General Motors, announces a significant advancement in EV charging technology with the rollout of Plug and Charge capabilities across its Canadian DC fast charging network. This initiative is aimed at enhancing the charging experience for GM’s EV drivers, allowing them to start charging their vehicles effortlessly at any FLO station across the country without the need to use a mobile app or a charging card.
Nathan Yang, FLO’s Chief Product Officer, emphasized the importance of this update, stating, “FLO’s innovative software technology that supports GM’s Plug and Charge is just the latest step in FLO’s mission to provide the best charging experience for EV drivers across North America.” This initiative underscores FLO’s commitment to EV adoption and its ability to innovate and improve the charging process.
To access this feature, GM EV drivers simply link their FLO account with their GM myBrand app and enable Plug and Charge, highlighting the seamless integration between vehicle and charging infrastructure.
