Proven Tire Performance for Season 12

Across six sessions, Formula E teams and drivers gathered critical data ahead of the São Paulo opener in December. The Hankook GEN3 Evo iON Race tire maintained predictable, championship-level performance throughout—enabling engineers to fine-tune energy management and chassis setups.

Now entering its second competitive season, the tire continues to earn the confidence of both teams and drivers. Feedback emphasized its stability, grip, and consistent performance data, allowing deeper optimization of race strategies. With sustainable materials making up more than a third of its construction, the tire balances high performance with environmental responsibility.

Industry Feedback

DS PENSKE’s Maximilian Günther commented:

“After a full season with these tires, we now understand them better and know what to expect when pushing the car. The consistency gave us confidence in all test sessions.”

Manfred Sandbichler, Senior Director of Hankook Motorsport, added:

“This test confirmed that our joint development with Formula E continues to deliver under all conditions. The GEN3 Evo iON Race provides the reliability drivers need as they prepare for the new season.”

Supporting Diversity and Future Talent

The testing program also featured Formula E’s Women’s Test and Girls on Track initiatives, reinforcing the championship’s commitment to diversity. Female drivers participated in official Gen3 Evo runs, while local students gained hands-on motorsport experience through workshops and talks — programs Hankook proudly supports.

Looking Ahead to Season 12

Formula E’s twelfth season will feature 17 rounds across 11 cities, beginning with the São Paulo E-Prix in December 2025 and concluding in London in August 2026. Leading manufacturers including Porsche, Jaguar, Nissan, Stellantis, Citroën, Mahindra, and Lola Cars will compete for championship honors.
