The 2026 Honda Accord has earned the “Best Family Sedan” designation in Good Housekeeping’s 2026 Best Family Car Awards. The recognition extends to the hybrid-electric variant of the midsize sedan.
This marks Honda’s ninth consecutive win in the sedan category. American Honda has received 14 total honors in the publication’s Best Family Car Awards since 2017.

2026 Model Year Updates
The refreshed 2026 Accord introduces several technology and design enhancements:
- 9-inch color touchscreen replaces the previous display
- Wireless smartphone integration for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Wireless phone charger now standard
- Black exterior accents added to Sport Hybrid models
- 19-inch alloy wheels with five-spoke design on turbocharged Accord SE
Trim Levels and Powertrain Options
The 2026 Accord lineup includes six configurations. The turbocharged variants are the LX and SE. Hybrid-electric power is available on the Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring trims.
Market Position
The Accord holds the distinction of being America’s best-selling car over the past five decades. The current 11th-generation model leads the midsize segment among Millennial, Gen Z, first-time, and multicultural buyers.
Honda’s electrified vehicle lineup represented more than 25% of the company’s total U.S. sales in 2024.
