The partnership strengthens SK Signet’s position among global hardware manufacturers by incorporating Hubject’s proven Plug&Charge solutions. This technology, built on ISO 15118-2 standards, allows EV drivers to connect their vehicles to chargers for automatic authentication and payment, eliminating the need for apps or cards. This seamless process enhances user convenience and ensures secure, reliable charging.

As an EVSE Check Partner, SK Signet will conduct testing, inspection, and certification of charging equipment, ensuring high standards of reliability. By integrating Hubject’s interoperability platform and standard OCPP protocols, SK Signet’s chargers will work seamlessly across diverse charging environments, benefiting both drivers and charge point operators.

Expanding Global Reach

Through Hubject’s eRoaming platform, intercharge, SK Signet customers will access a network of over 1,000,000 charging points across 70+ countries. This connectivity allows drivers to charge at SK Signet stations worldwide without separate registration or authentication. Similarly, Hubject’s network users can utilize SK Signet’s chargers effortlessly, fostering a unified global charging ecosystem.
