Hyundai Motor Company and Škoda Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on hydrogen mobility solutions and energy-efficient innovations. This partnership, announced during the Korea-Czech Business Summit in Prague, focuses on advancing hydrogen technology, eco-friendly mobility, and contributing to a sustainable future. Hyundai’s Expertise in Hydrogen Technologies
Hyundai’s leadership in hydrogen technology is well-established through its HTWO brand, which covers all aspects of the hydrogen value chain. This collaboration allows Škoda Group to adopt Hyundai’s advanced systems for use in its mobility products and projects, aiming to reduce carbon footprints and create sustainable transport solutions.
Additionally, Hyundai’s manufacturing plant in Nošovice, Czech Republic, demonstrates the company’s commitment to the region. With an annual capacity of 350,000 vehicles, it remains one of the most modern facilities in Europe and the largest foreign investment in the Czech Republic.
Through this agreement, Hyundai and Škoda Group will explore new business opportunities, bringing eco-friendly hydrogen solutions to various sectors, aiming to transform mobility and contribute to a clean energy future globally.
