Outstanding Efficiency, Range, and Charging Capability

The Hyundai INSTER offers exceptional charging capabilities and all-electric range (AER) that provide flexibility for urban and longer-distance travel. The vehicle charges from 10 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes when connected to a DC high-power charging station with at least 120-kW output. The standard 42 kWh battery provides a projected range of 327 km, while the long-range 49 kWh model can extend the distance to 370 km. Both versions use a single motor, offering 71.1 kW (97 PS) in the base variant and 84.5 kW (115 PS) in the long-range variant, delivering 147 Nm of torque.

Refinement, Ride, and Handling

The INSTER focuses on enhancing driving enjoyment and smoothness, offering hydro bushing for improved vibration control and ride quality. Compared to the CASPER ICE model, the INSTER’s shock absorption and body control are significantly improved, creating a smoother and more refined driving experience. Various measures, such as double door seals and thicker glass, help reduce noise, enhancing overall ride quality.

Distinctive Design and Practicality

The INSTER boasts a rugged and extended design, with a longer wheelbase and body compared to its ICE counterpart, offering ample interior space and 351 liters of luggage capacity. Its exterior showcases LED daytime running lights, strong SUV lines, and a pixel-graphic lighting signature that enhances its modern appeal. The customizable interior includes a 10.25-inch infotainment screen and versatile seating options designed to maximize convenience and comfort.

These features work collectively to ensure safety and driving convenience, making INSTER a leading choice for those seeking a safe and well-equipped sub-compact EV.

Versatile Interior with High-Tech Features

The INSTER offers an interior designed for everyday versatility, featuring walk-through access, fold-flat seating, and advanced tech amenities such as a digital cluster and wireless charging dock. Sustainable materials are used throughout, highlighting Hyundai’s commitment to environmental responsibility. The cabin’s atmosphere is enhanced by 64-color LED ambient lighting and customizable upper door trim, allowing drivers to personalize their vehicle.

Market Rollout and Production

Following its launch in Korea, Hyundai will introduce the INSTER to Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific markets. Production takes place at Gwangju Global Motors (GGM) in Korea. Pricing details and market-specific features will be announced ahead of the regional launches, with INSTER aiming to offer strong value, impressive range, and unique design to meet consumer needs across various global markets.
