Hyundai UK has announced the launch of its new Hyundai Electric Grant, a program designed to offer customers immediate savings on the company’s full electric vehicle (EV) lineup. This initiative aims to make electric mobility more accessible for UK buyers by providing clear and compelling value at the point of sale.
Key Highlights
- A grant of £3,750 is available for the 2025 World EV of the Year, the Hyundai INSTER.
- A grant of £1,500 is offered for all other Hyundai EV models, including the KONA Electric, IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, IONIQ 5 N, and the new IONIQ 9.
- The grant is available immediately and is automatically applied to all retail purchases.
- An additional £500 discount is available on the INSTER and KONA Electric until August 31st as part of Hyundai’s Electrifying Summer Event.
Promoting the Switch to Electric
The Hyundai Electric Grant is intended to provide customers with complete clarity and financial support as more drivers consider making the switch to an EV. To further assist in this transition, Hyundai offers 24-hour test drives for its electric models, allowing potential buyers to experience how a vehicle fits their specific lifestyle.

Award-Winning EV Lineup Included
The grant applies across Hyundai’s entire fully electric vehicle lineup, which features a diverse range of award-winning models. The offer includes a £3,750 saving on the new INSTER, which was recently recognized as the 2025 World Electric Vehicle of the Year.
A £1,500 saving is available on all other electric models, including:
- KONA Electric: One of the UK’s most popular electric SUVs.
- IONIQ 5 & IONIQ 6: Both models are triple World Car of the Year winners.
- IONIQ 5 N: A winner of the Top Gear Performance Car of the Year award.
- IONIQ 9: The newest addition to the IONIQ family, offering a three-row, seven-seat all-electric SUV experience.
Availability and Additional Offers
The Hyundai Electric Grant is available immediately across Hyundai UK’s national retailer network and is applied automatically to all retail purchases. This initiative is part of Hyundai’s broader commitment to electric mobility and its goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2045.
For a limited time, customers can combine the grant with another promotion. Until August 31st, buyers of the INSTER and KONA Electric can receive an additional £500 off as part of the Hyundai Electrifying Summer Event.
