Luxury British EV conversion specialist Inverted has expanded its lineup with electrified versions of the iconic Land Rover Series I, II, and III. These classic off-roaders have been transformed into fully electric vehicles, blending their timeless design with modern technology. Customers can work directly with Inverted’s founder, Harry Millington, to customize their vehicle, ensuring a perfect mix of heritage and personal flair.

Inverted Unveils Electric Land Rover Classics

These electrified Land Rovers cater to diverse needs, from rural escapes to city commutes with zero emissions. The 62kWh battery pack optimizes weight distribution, while the 160 bhp motor delivers 900Nm of torque for a swift 0-60 mph in 8 seconds. Off-road capability remains intact with the original transfer box providing high/low ranges and a locking differential.

Charging is convenient with a 6.6kW Type 2 charger and a 60kW CCS rapid charger, achieving a 20% to 80% charge in just 38 minutes. The 120-mile range suits everyday use, enhanced by drive modes tailored for efficiency or rugged terrain. Driving is smoother thanks to electric power steering and servo-assisted brakes.

Inverted also offers an electrification kit for Land Rover Defenders, featuring an 82kWh battery, climate adaptability, and motor options up to 450 bhp. Pricing starts at £125,000 + VAT, with custom options available. Each vehicle includes a 24-month warranty and global shipping.
