JETOUR G700 Whistling Arrow Heads to Middle East

JETOUR plans to launch the G700 Whistling Arrow, a hybrid off-road model built from its standard G700, in the Middle East in the third quarter, following its Moab debut.

JETOUR will bring the G700 Whistling Arrow, a hybrid off-road model custom-built from its standard G700 SUV, to the Middle East in the third quarter. The vehicle made its first public appearance this spring at the 60th Moab Easter Jeep Safari in Utah, running climbing routes alongside traditional mechanical off-roaders. JETOUR is positioning the model for the region’s premium off-road segment.

Highlights

  • Middle East launch: Planned for the third quarter, targeting the region’s premium off-road segment.
  • Powertrain: Powered by GAIA, using the Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM-O system.
  • Off-road hardware: A company-stated 23.796:1 high-ratio reduction gear, triple differential locks, and a one-touch cross-axle mode.
  • Moab debut: First public run this spring at the 60th Easter Jeep Safari, with off-road racer Robby Gordon and explorer Hazen Audel.

Can a Decoupled e-4WD System Handle Rock Crawling?

The G700 Whistling Arrow is built around a decoupled electric four-wheel-drive (e-4WD) system, which removes the mechanical driveshaft between the front and rear axles and relies on independent electric motors and electronic controls to distribute torque. According to JETOUR, that layout lowers energy consumption, responds faster, and allocates torque more flexibly — traits it says suit deserts and similar loose terrain. The company acknowledges that extreme rock-crawling environments like Moab have posed challenges for such systems in torque precision, sustained power output, and thermal management. JETOUR says the Whistling Arrow is the first decoupled e-4WD vehicle to take on world-class rock-crawling routes.

Robby Gordon, who drove the vehicle at Moab, described the terrain: “This is completely different from everyday driving. It’s highly technical — you need excellent traction to climb these rocks and cliffs.”

Inside the Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM-O System

Powered by GAIA, the G700 Whistling Arrow runs the Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM-O system. JETOUR lists the following hardware:

  • High-ratio reduction gear: a 23.796:1 ratio the company describes as a world first.
  • Triple differential locks: with millisecond-level engagement.
  • One-touch cross-axle mode: which the company says is the only one of its kind in the industry.
  • AI-driven energy and thermal control: managing power delivery and cooling.

The company says these systems let the vehicle deliver strong off-road performance on Moab’s terrain.

Moab Debut and Middle East Launch

JETOUR brought the G700 Whistling Arrow to the 60th Easter Jeep Safari this spring, the first appearance of the customized model at the Utah off-road gathering. Explorer Hazen Audel, who attended, said: “You can see the crowd gathering around the G700, curious and drawn in. That’s what happens when people encounter something entirely new.”

Scheduled for the third quarter, the G700 Whistling Arrow will enter the Middle Eastern premium off-road segment, where JETOUR says the model will offer buyers diverse off-road lifestyle options.
