Kia’s EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT are now on sale in Europe, each pairing dual-motor all-wheel drive with an 81.4 kWh battery and outputs of 288 hp (215 kW) to 302 hp (225 kW). The three models, first shown at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show, join the EV6 GT and EV9 GT to form a five-model Kia GT lineup spanning compact SUV, hatchback and fastback, and C-SUV body styles. Kia says the new models retain the comfort and usability of its standard EV range while adding GT-specific chassis tuning, Virtual Gear Shift and Active Sound Design. UK pricing and specification have not yet been released.

Three Segments, One GT Formula
According to Kia, the GT badge has moved from the Ceed GT and ProCeed GT through the Stinger GT to the EV6 GT and EV9 GT. The EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT now extend that treatment across the core of Kia’s electric portfolio.
All three share a common technical package: dual-motor AWD, GT Mode, Launch Control, Performance Timer, Electric Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control, Preview Electronic Controlled Suspension, Virtual Gear Shift with Active Sound Design, and a retuned rack-mounted motor-driven power steering system.

Kia EV3 GT: Compact SUV
The EV3 GT brings the GT package to Kia’s compact SUV. Its dual-motor system delivers 288 hp (215 kW / 292 PS) and 345 lb-ft (468 Nm), split 194 hp (145 kW) front and 94 hp (70 kW) rear, for a 0–62 mph (0–100 km/h) time of 5.7 seconds and a top speed of 106 mph (170 km/h). Kia rates WLTP range at 311 miles (501 km).
Cabin equipment includes GT-exclusive semi-bucket sport seats in suede with neon-green accents, a perforated-leather GT steering wheel, sport pedals, a black-and-neon interior treatment, Harman Kardon premium audio and dual wireless smartphone charging.
Kia EV4 GT: Hatchback and Fastback
The EV4 GT uses the same 288 hp (215 kW) dual-motor system as the EV3 GT but reaches 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.6 seconds. Kia quotes WLTP range of up to 334 miles (537 km) for the fastback and up to 314 miles (505 km) for the hatchback. The EV4 Fastback GT will not be offered in the UK.
Kia positions the EV4 GT as the most driver-oriented of the three, citing its lower center of gravity and road-focused proportions. The company describes a three-stage throttle calibration: low-speed control for smooth driving, a mid-range stroke for a more free-playing character, and a high pedal stroke that delivers full torque feel.
Interior features include the semi-bucket sport seats, a three-spoke GT steering wheel, GT logo projection under the front doors, Performance Timer and Harman Kardon audio.
Kia EV5 GT: C-SUV
The EV5 GT is the most powerful of the three, with 302 hp (225 kW / 306 PS) and 354 lb-ft (480 Nm) split 208 hp (155 kW) front and 94 hp (70 kW) rear. It accelerates from 0–62 mph in 6.2 seconds, reaches 112 mph (180 km/h) and offers 296 miles (476 km) of WLTP range from the same 81.4 kWh pack. The GT arrives after Kia introduced EV5 all-wheel-drive variants on its GT-Line and GT-Line S grades earlier this year.
Kia frames the EV5 GT as the most versatile GT model, combining the performance package with the space and comfort of a family SUV. Equipment additions include a driver Ergo Motion seat, front laminated acoustic glass and Kia Pet Mode, which holds cabin temperature, locks the doors, disables interior switches and alarms, and displays an on-screen owner message when a pet is briefly left inside.

How Does the GT Chassis Differ From Standard Models?
Kia reports that suspension tuning was validated on roads in the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and Sweden, in both hot and cold conditions. Spring rates are increased for a firmer ride, anti-roll bars reduce body roll, and brakes are calibrated to match the GT character.
Preview Electronic Controlled Suspension uses a forward-facing camera to read the road ahead and adjust damping force within milliseconds. An optimized Integrated Electric Booster coordinates regenerative and friction braking, which Kia says improves energy recuperation and stability while reducing weight and package size.
Three drive modes set the chassis behavior:
- Normal: Low damping force with high roll control, tuned for comfort
- Sport: Firmer ride with higher roll control and quicker response
- GT: Near-maximum damping, strong cornering support and the highest responsiveness
Drivers can also choose among three Electronic Stability Control setups. In every setting the system monitors vehicle parameters to maintain a constant safety margin, and torque vectoring is used to hold a controlled drift angle within those thresholds by adjusting power to each wheel.
Virtual Gear Shift and Active Sound Design
Virtual Gear Shift simulates gear changes and shift feel, while Active Sound Design produces sound feedback tied to speed, acceleration and torque. The GT sound signature plays through the eight-speaker audio system to simulate the soundscape of a high-performance engine inside the cabin.
If the driver leaves Virtual Gear Shift off, a coasting feature still produces a distinct sound sequence when lifting off the accelerator above 62 mph (100 km/h). Dedicated cluster graphics, drive-mode-specific displays and Performance Timer round out the GT interface.
Connected Features
All three GT models include Kia’s in-car payment feature for services such as parking, on-demand access to Netflix, YouTube and Disney+, an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot, and over-the-air updates for infotainment, features and vehicle technologies.
Standard ADAS on all three includes Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2, Lane Keeping Assist, Highway Driving Assist 2, Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control and Intelligent Speed Limit Assist. The EV5 GT adds Surround View Monitor, Blind-Spot View Monitor, Remote 360 View and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 as standard, while these features are optional on the EV3 GT and EV4 GT.
