Leapmotor Opens B03X Orders in Europe at €24,900

Leapmotor has opened European orders for the B03X electric crossover, priced from €24,900 with two LFP battery options, up to 237 miles (382 km) WLTP range, and 16-minute fast charging.

Leapmotor has opened European order books for the B03X, a compact electric crossover carrying a starting list price of €24,900 (approximately $28,400). Orders open from early July at European dealerships, marking the start of the model’s commercial rollout and, the company says, reinforcing its ambition to accelerate its presence in key global markets. Leapmotor describes the B03X as a global strategic model designed from the outset for international markets.

  • Order books open from early July at European dealerships, with a starting list price of €24,900 (approximately $28,400)
  • Two LFP battery options: 39.8 kWh with up to 181 miles (292 km) WLTP range and 53.0 kWh with up to 237 miles (382 km) WLTP range
  • Both packs support 2.5C DC fast charging from 30% to 80% in approximately 16 minutes
  • A single front-mounted motor produces 197 hp (145 kW) and 148 lb-ft (200 Nm), delivering 0–62 mph (0–100 km/h) in 8.6 seconds

Compact Dimensions Aimed at City Driving

Leapmotor positions the B03X as a compact, practical, tech-focused urban crossover that brings SUV character into a city-friendly format. The company says the packaging balances agility with interior space:

  • Length: 168.1 inches (4,270 mm)
  • Width: 71.3 inches (1,810 mm)
  • Height: 64.4 inches (1,635 mm)
  • Wheelbase: 102.6 inches (2,605 mm)

Inside, the company points to a flexible seating system, a flat cargo floor, and multiple storage solutions intended to adapt the vehicle to commuting, family use, and leisure activities. The cabin follows what Leapmotor calls a minimalist, human-centric design philosophy built around usability and intuitive interaction.

Battery Options and Charging

The B03X is built on Leapmotor’s latest-generation architecture and uses a CTC2.0 Plus cell-to-chassis short-cell battery system, which the company says improves packaging and energy efficiency. Two LFP battery configurations are offered:

BatteryWLTP RangeDC Fast Charging (30–80%)
39.8 kWhUp to 181 miles (292 km)Approximately 16 minutes
53.0 kWhUp to 237 miles (382 km)Approximately 16 minutes

Both packs are engineered with 2.5C fast-charging capability. WLTP figures are based on the European test cycle and typically run higher than the EPA estimates used in North America.

The model also integrates Leap OS 4.0, the company’s latest digital ecosystem, covering connectivity, smartphone integration, and remote vehicle control.

Powertrain and Performance

The B03X rides on a dedicated electric vehicle architecture with a single front-mounted motor producing 197 hp (145 kW) and 148 lb-ft (200 Nm) of torque. Leapmotor quotes a top speed of 99 mph (160 km/h) and 0–62 mph (0–100 km/h) acceleration in 8.6 seconds, with a front-wheel-drive layout the company says favors stability in daily driving.

Trims and Global Rollout

The range is structured around two trims, LIFE and DESIGN, paired with the two battery configurations. Leapmotor says the streamlined lineup, in line with the brand’s stated commitment to accessibility, is intended to simplify the purchase decision.

The company states the B03X has been engineered to meet international standards in safety, quality, and performance, with a planned rollout across multiple regions worldwide.
