Love’s Travel Stops is accelerating its investment in electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, leading the charge toward more sustainable energy solutions across the United States. The company recently initiated the construction of next-generation EV charging stations at its locations in Ripley and Waterloo, New York. These sites will feature two dual-port Level 3 DC fast chargers with a combined total of four charging spots and a high-power output of 160KW.

  • EV Charging Expansion: Love’s began expanding its EV charging network in 2017, now offering over 100 chargers at 28 stores across 11 states.
  • Next-Gen Charging Stations: The new stations in New York will include Level 3 DC fast chargers, designed to provide efficient charging for a wide range of EVs.

Love’s Expands EV Charging Network Nationwide

In collaboration with Trillium Energy Solutions, a Love’s Family of Companies brand, Love’s has secured state and federal grants under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program. This program, which aims to create a national network of 500,000 EV chargers, has awarded Love’s substantial funding to expand its charging infrastructure. Upcoming projects include NEVI-funded stations in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Alabama, and more.
