Mercedes-Benz USA has introduced the 2026 Mercedes-AMG E 53 HYBRID Wagon, expanding its lineup with a groundbreaking vehicle. This model is the first performance hybrid wagon from Mercedes-AMG to be offered in the United States, blending the brand’s signature high performance with advanced hybrid technology and the practicality of a wagon. Set to arrive at U.S. dealerships in late 2025, this innovative vehicle caters to drivers seeking both excitement and efficiency.

The 2026 Mercedes-AMG E 53 HYBRID Wagon features an AMG-enhanced 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder turbocharged engine paired with a 161-hp electric motor. This P2 hybrid system delivers a standard combined output of 577 horsepower, increasing to 604 horsepower with the optional RACE START feature. The AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system ensures agile handling, propelling the wagon from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 3.8 seconds. A 28.6-kWh battery (with 21.2 kWh usable) supports all-electric driving at speeds up to 87 mph, balancing power with sustainability.
Customization options abound, with 12 exterior paint colors, including four MANUFAKTUR shades, and packages like the AMG Night Package. Wheel choices range from 20-inch to 21-inch designs. Inside, buyers can select AMG MB-Tex/Microfiber or AMG Nappa leather, complemented by a 17-speaker Burmester 4D Surround Sound System. The optional MBUX Superscreen Package adds a 12.3-inch passenger display.
The optional AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package enhances performance with features like an increased top speed of 174 mph and red AMG brake calipers. For exclusivity, the limited “Edition 1” variant offers MANUFAKTUR Alpine Grey paint and 21-inch AMG Forged Cross-Spoke wheels.
