Design and Practicality

The CLA Shooting Brake features sporty proportions with a radiant front end, including 142 illuminated LED stars on the panel and MULTIBEAM LED headlights. Its extended roofline and one-piece panoramic glass roof create an open, luxurious feel. The roof, available in switchable versions, uses heat-insulating glass for comfort and can adjust transparency for privacy or glare protection.

Compared to its predecessor, this model is 35 millimeters longer at 4,723 millimeters, 27 millimeters taller at 1,469 millimeters, and has a 61-millimeter longer wheelbase of 2,790 millimeters. This results in more headroom and elbow space, though rear legroom sees a slight reduction. The 40/20/40 split-folding seats expand cargo versatility, and standard roof rails support heavy loads.

Performance and Efficiency

Powered by a new battery generation with 85 kWh usable energy, the CLA 250 e offers 200 kW output and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. Higher variants like the CLA 350 4MATIC provide 260 kW and all-wheel drive. The 800-volt architecture enables fast DC charging up to 300 kW, while recuperation recovers up to 200 kW during braking for better efficiency.

Mercedes-Benz’s Electric Intelligence navigation optimizes routes with charging stops, preconditioning the battery for quicker sessions. Combined energy consumption ranges from 12.7 to 15.7 kWh/100 km, with zero CO2 emissions.
