  • The collaboration aims to provide custom-built medical units with telehealth and real-time data capabilities.

Bringing Healthcare to Rural Communities

Mission Mobile Medical, a leader in mobile health solutions, has transformed healthcare delivery by providing on-demand medical services to at-risk populations. Over the past five years, the company has deployed 200+ mobile healthcare programs across the U.S. and Canada, bringing preventative, primary, and specialty care to regions with limited healthcare infrastructure.

“How long you live shouldn’t depend on where you live,” said Travis LeFever, CEO of Mission Mobile Medical. “With nearly 20% of Americans in rural areas facing barriers to care, this partnership is a crucial step toward equitable healthcare access.”

Why REE’s P7 Trucks?

Mission Mobile selected REE’s P7 platform due to its fully flat chassis and modular, zonal architecture, enabling the development of custom-built mobile medical facilities. REE’s x-by-wire system allows for over-the-air (OTA) updates, real-time fleet monitoring, and enhanced adaptability—key for deploying healthcare efficiently in remote regions.

REE’s P7-C is the first U.S.-certified fully by-wire vehicle, designed around four REEcorners®, which integrate steering, braking, suspension, powertrain, and control into a single module. The flexibility of REE’s platform allows for medical, cargo, and service vehicle customization, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

“Our modular platform enables purpose-built solutions to serve specific needs,” said Tali Miller, Chief Business Officer of REE. “This partnership showcases how zero-emission vehicles can drive positive community impact at scale.”

Shaping the Future of Mobile Healthcare

By combining REE’s electric vehicle innovation with Mission Mobile’s healthcare expertise, the initiative aims to revolutionize mobile health delivery—providing sustainable, high-quality medical solutions where they are needed most. The partnership not only supports environmental sustainability but also advances critical healthcare access in a rapidly evolving industry.
