Argo’s Innovative Design and Capabilities

Argo is Motiv’s first fully integrated cab-chassis design, enabling a broader range of electric truck configurations to meet diverse customer needs. The truck is available in various configurations, including dock-height applications, lower-profile designs, and different truck body lengths, such as short dump trucks, aerial lifts, step vans, and buses.

CEO Scott Griffith emphasized, “The launch of Argo is a transformational moment for our company as we can now offer more vehicles and options to help more fleet customers meet their sustainability goals.”

Safety and Comfort Enhancements

Argo’s design prioritizes safety with features like forward command seating, low beltlines, and large windshields for improved visibility. Additional safety enhancements include front and rear cameras, optional e-mirrors, and full-length safety railings.

The truck is also built for driver comfort, with adjustable heated seats, intuitive controls, and ample interior space. This design caters to drivers ranging from 4’11” to 6’3”, promoting better posture and reducing fatigue.

Superior Durability and Maintenance

Argo’s cab, built with advanced structural composite materials, offers higher corrosion and impact resistance, better repairability, and stronger structural integrity. Motiv’s Gen 6 technology further enhances reliability and maintenance efficiency, allowing fleets to maximize uptime.

Energy Optimization

Argo’s composite structure provides superior insulation, reducing energy consumption for heating and cooling. Features like microwire heat on the windshield and specially designed airflow for seat heating and cooling contribute to overall energy efficiency.

Industry Impact and Availability

With over 300 electric vehicles on the road, Motiv has established a strong presence in the market, achieving 98 percent uptime for its electric trucks in 2023. The Argo series, made in the USA and Buy America-compliant, is available for order now and eligible for various tax credits and incentive programs.
