MSI debuted the EZgo portable EV charger at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. The 40A / 9.6kW Level 2 charger is designed for both home installation and mobile use, featuring dual-plug compatibility and IP66-rated durability.

Hardware and Connectivity Features
The EZgo includes a 1.8-inch on-unit display showing charging data without requiring a smartphone. Physical buttons allow users to adjust amperage and schedule delayed charging directly on the device.
The MSI aConnect companion app provides additional controls via Bluetooth, including multi-user account sharing. The app does not require exclusive device binding, allowing multiple household members to manage charging sessions.
Durability and Safety Standards
MSI engineered the EZgo for portable use scenarios including garage storage, driveway deployment, and travel applications. The unit meets the following certifications:
- IP66: Protection against dust ingress and high-pressure water jets
- UL 2594: EV charging equipment safety standard
- UL 2231: Personnel protection system requirements
- UL 94-V0 and UL 746C (F1): Material flammability and long-term heat/UV exposure ratings
- 2T run-over validation: Structural integrity under vehicle weight
The package includes a home mounting kit with holder, hook, and hardware, plus a structured carry bag for trunk or frunk storage.

EV Life Premium Wall Charger Expansion
MSI also announced the EV Life Premium, expanding its EV Life Series of residential wall chargers. The unit delivers up to 14.4 kW (60A) output and supports hardwired installation or NEMA 14-50 plug-and-play configuration.

- Protection ratings: IP55/IP67 water resistance, IK08 impact resistance
- Display: Integrated full-color LCD for on-unit navigation and charging metrics
- Connectors: Type 1 (SAE J1772) and Tesla NACS compatibility
- Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Ethernet, OCPP 1.6J protocol support
- Security: RFID authentication for access control
- Pricing: Starts at $649 MSRP with 5-year warranty
