The SUV’s 777L cargo capacity accommodates up to 12 suitcases, with a 230L front trunk and 547L rear trunk. The dual-chamber air suspension lowers the vehicle by 50 mm in seven seconds, enabling easy entry without side steps.
Inside, the cabin exudes sophistication with 52 m² of soft-touch surfaces, Nappa leather seats, and double-stitched diamond quilting. Four interior themes—Pamir Brown, Warm Gravel, Gangri Blue, and Sappanwood Red—complement six exterior colors, including the new Arctic Black with a 65 µm clear coat. The PanoSpace ambient lighting offers nine themes, with the debut “Galaxy Walk” inspired by the Milky Way.

The All-New ES8 sets a new standard for comfort with three zero-gravity seats in the six-seater variant, including two in the second row with lateral sliding. The third row offers a 130-degree recline, ensuring first-class comfort. A five-zone climate control system and an 8.8L smart fridge maintain ideal conditions, while 242 acoustic optimizations create a serene environment.
The NIO LYRA 8.1.4.2 Immersive Sound System with 27 speakers and Dolby Atmos delivers concert-hall acoustics. A 15.6-inch AMOLED center display and a 21.4-inch mini-LED overhead display with Dolby Vision provide cinematic visuals. The Theater Mode transforms the second-row seat into an optimal viewing position, enhanced by dynamic ambient lighting.
Flagship Performance and Technology
Powered by a 900V architecture and a 102 kWh battery, the All-New ES8 achieves 520 kW of power, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 3.97 seconds. Its 0.259 drag coefficient enables a 635 km range. The PrimeRide Smart Chassis with 4D Smart Suspension ensures a smooth ride, while a 41-degree steering angle and EasyTurn offer a 5.7m turning radius.
The SUV integrates NIO Full Stack technologies, including the NX9031 smart driving chip, Qualcomm SA8295P, and SkyOS operating system for seamless connectivity and control. The AQUILA Super Sensing System with 31 sensors, including LiDAR and 4D radar, powers the NIO WorldModel for advanced smart driving.
Safety and Infrastructure
The All-New ES8 prioritizes safety with a cage structure, 11 airbags, and a smart restraint system adjusting to driver size. A reclining safety system in the second row enhances protection. NIO’s 8,173 charging and swapping stations across China, including 3,458 swap stations, ensure worry-free travel, making the ES8 the only premium three-row BEV free from range anxiety.
