NIO House | Amsterdam, situated in the historic Metz Building at 32-34 Leidsestraat, officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by NIO’s founder and CEO William Li, and NIO Netherlands General Manager Ruben Keuter. The event saw the attendance of key NIO executives, representatives from the European user community, and over 200 partners and guests.

The Metz Building, built in 1891 and a protected historical landmark, stands near significant landmarks such as Keizersgracht, Dam Square, and the Royal Palace. NIO collaborated with Dutch architectural design firm MVRDV to blend modern design elements with the building’s classical facade, creating an eight-story, 2,700-square-meter space.
Each floor of the NIO House offers a unique theme centered around the user community, providing various experiences such as car viewing, dining, office space, childcare, exhibitions, lectures, relaxation, reading, and social gatherings. Visitors can also enjoy the exclusive mocktail “Tulips from Amsterdam” in the Café area.
The fifth floor features the “Traces of Life” series, a collaborative project between NIO Life and the Eindhoven Design Academy (DAE). This initiative supports emerging talent, providing an innovative platform for students.
William Li highlighted the importance of NIO House in the NIO community: “NIO House is a vital part of the NIO community, enhancing the connection between the brand and its users.” He emphasized NIO’s commitment to expanding its presence and service infrastructure in Europe, aiming to improve user satisfaction and contribute to local communities.

The “Power Journeys|Canals and Castles Route” links Rotterdam and Munich, illustrating NIO’s extensive network. With seven NIO Houses, eight NIO Spaces, and 55 NIO Service Centers, NIO has hosted 1,450 community events, fostering a strong connection with local users.
