Olympian Motors, in collaboration with Foxconn, has introduced Olympus OS, the world’s first Agentic AI Vehicle Operating System for electric vehicles (EVs). Announced on May 15, 2025, in Brooklyn, New York, this innovative platform promises to transform EV software architecture by offering an open, AI-native, and developer-friendly system. By replacing proprietary, closed systems with a modular and scalable design, Olympus OS aims to redefine how vehicles compute, communicate, and adapt.
Key Highlights:
- Strategic Partnership: Olympian Motors and Foxconn collaborate to develop Olympus OS, leveraging Foxconn’s manufacturing expertise.
- AI-Native Platform: Powered by Google Cloud and NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin, enabling advanced AI features like natural language interfaces.
- Open Architecture: Offers developers access to data, APIs, SDKs, and documentation for seamless integration.
- Pilot Programs: Scheduled for Q4 2025 in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, featuring EVs like the Model 84 SUV.
- Core Capabilities: Includes centralized vehicle control, real-time diagnostics, and hyper-personalized AI assistants.
Olympus OS operates on a centralized gateway module, digitizing critical vehicle systems such as chassis, infotainment, and diagnostics. Unlike traditional automotive software, which is often fragmented and outdated, this platform supports agentic AI workloads and ensures seamless data flow across vehicle, cloud, and mobile interfaces. Its partnership with Google Cloud enables real-time analytics and edge-to-cloud synchronization, while NVIDIA’s DRIVE AGX Orin powers in-vehicle machine learning models, fostering intelligent navigation and personalized driver experiences.
Set for pilot deployment in Q4 2025, Olympus OS will be tested in cities like New York and Los Angeles using Olympian’s Model 84 SUV and Model 42 VAN. These pilots will showcase features like proactive diagnostics, over-the-air updates, and AI-driven personalization. The system’s open architecture invites collaboration with OEMs, developers, and urban mobility partners to build the future of AI-defined vehicles.
Eren Canarslan, CEO of Olympian Motors, emphasized the platform’s transformative potential, stating, “Olympus OS is for developers building the future of AI-defined vehicles, not for legacy gatekeepers.” He likened the system to Android for EVs, offering a scalable, white-label platform compliant with ISO 26262 and ASPICE standards.
Interested parties, including OEMs and AI researchers, are encouraged to join the Olympus OS Initiative for early access and collaboration opportunities.
