ONVO, NIO’s second brand, launched its flagship Smart Large-Space SUV, the L90, in Hangzhou, offering advanced technology and family-focused design. Priced from RMB 265,800 (or RMB 179,800 with BaaS), the L90 comes in six- and seven-seat configurations, with deliveries starting August 1, 2025, for the six-seater and late September for the seven-seater. Celebrities Sha Yi and Hu Ke, the first L90 users, highlighted the event. The SUV redefines large three-row SUVs with six breakthrough experiences: safety, space, comfort, ride quality, energy efficiency, and intelligence.

It passed 62 rigorous crash tests, including a unique high-speed truck collision test in rainy conditions. Built on a 900V BEV platform, the L90 maximizes space with a 3,110 mm wheelbase and 81.5% longitudinal space efficiency. The rear trunk offers 430 L of storage, fitting seven suitcases, while the 240 L front trunk adds versatility. The seven-seat version features a one-touch fold-and-glide second row, creating a 670 mm entry for easy third-row access. With the third row flattened, the interior transforms into a spacious bed.

The L90 delivers a luxurious cabin with 214 acoustic insulation components, 4.96 mm laminated glass, and ultra-quiet tires for a serene ride. The ONVO Sound Premium system, with 23 speakers and a 2,048-watt amplifier, offers a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos experience. Seats feature a 13-layer comfort structure, with heating throughout, plus ventilation and massage for the first two rows. The six-seat version includes ultra-wide second-row seats, while the seven-seat configuration offers a convertible armrest.

Weighing just 2,250 kg, the L90 ensures agile handling with front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspensions. A 340 kW motor (or 440 kW in all-wheel-drive) delivers 0-100 km/h in 4.7-5.9 seconds. The Cloud Comfort Smart Chassis, paired with air suspension and multi-terrain modes, minimizes vibrations and ensures a smooth, motion-sickness-free ride for all passengers.
Superior Energy Efficiency
With 107 aerodynamic optimizations and a 0.25 drag coefficient, the L90 achieves 14.5 kWh/100 km energy consumption. Its 85 kWh battery provides a 605 km CLTC range, supported by NIO’s nationwide charging and swapping network, making long trips seamless and worry-free.
Intelligent Family Experience
The L90’s SkyOS and ONVO NT.Coconut Smart System deliver intuitive AI-driven features. The Xiao Le AI companion supports over 1,630 voice commands and personalizes settings for up to 20 occupants. The 17.2-inch 3K center display and 17.3-inch roof-mounted display ensure clarity and eye protection. ONVO Smart Driving (OSD), backed by NIO’s expertise, enhances safety and simplifies driving and parking.
Pricing and Personalization
The L90 offers Pro, Max, and Ultra trims, with prices ranging from RMB 265,800 to 299,800 (or RMB 179,800 to 213,800 with BaaS). Buyers can choose from five body colors and three interior themes, plus 20- or 21-inch wheels. Orders before September 1, 2025, include a RMB 30,000 launch package with discounts, free Navigate on Autopilot, and exclusive accessories.
