The Astra Electric and Astra Sports Tourer Electric consume 15.3-15.8 kWh per 100 km under WLTP testing with zero direct CO2 emissions. The plug-in hybrid variants consume 12.6-13.0 kWh of electricity plus 2.2-2.3 liters of fuel per 100 km, producing 49-53 g/km of CO2.

The hybrid models return 4.9-5.1 liters per 100 km with CO2 emissions of 109-114 g/km. Diesel variants achieve similar fuel consumption figures with CO2 output of 130-134 g/km.

Design Updates

The refreshed Astra introduces a narrower Opel Vizor front fascia with an illuminated Blitz emblem, a feature previously reserved for the Opel Grandland SUV. Design elements from the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo concept, unveiled at IAA Mobility, now appear in production form.

New 17- and 18-inch alloy wheel designs complement two additional metallic paint options: Kontur White and Klover Green.

Advanced Lighting Technology

The optional Intelli-Lux HD lighting system contains more than 50,000 individual LED elements. The system automatically adjusts beam patterns to avoid glaring oncoming traffic while detecting traffic signs and dimming output to reduce reflective glare for the driver. Intelli-Lux HD comes standard on the Ultimate trim level.

Interior and Comfort Features

Opel’s patented Intelli-Seats are now standard equipment across all Astra variants. The seats feature a center channel designed to reduce tailbone pressure during extended driving. From the GS trim upward, the driver’s seat carries AGR certification from Germany’s Campaign for Healthy Backs organization.

The cockpit displays feature updated graphics and visualization designed for improved readability. Sustainable materials include a vegan-wrapped steering wheel and optional ReNewKnit seat covers made from mono-material with a suede-like appearance.

Cargo Capacity

The Astra hatchback accommodates up to 1,339 liters of cargo with rear seats folded. The Sports Tourer wagon variant offers maximum cargo volume of 1,634 liters. Both body styles feature a 40:20:40 split-folding rear seatback configuration.
