Peugeot has unveiled notable upgrades to its popular E-208 electric car, enhancing its appeal with an extended range and innovative features. As the top-selling model in Europe’s electric B-segment last year, the E-208 now offers a remarkable range of up to 433 km (WLTP combined cycle), solidifying its position as a leader in its class. This update, paired with new technology, underscores Peugeot’s dedication to delivering efficient and practical electric vehicles for modern drivers.

Key Highlights:

  • Extended electric range to 433 km, the best in its segment.
  • New Trip Planner for seamless route and charging management.
  • Introduction of an “80% charge limit” feature for AC charging.
  • Pre-installation for Vehicle to Load (V2L) capability.
  • Updates across all 208 models, including a new safety camera and color option.

The 433 km range, an increase of 23 km from the previous model, tackles range anxiety head-on, offering drivers greater confidence for longer trips. This efficiency earned the E-208 the top spot in the 2024 Ecotest by ADAC, confirming its status as a standout in the European market.

The Trip Planner, an optional feature tied to the connected navigation system, simplifies electric driving by optimizing routes based on distance, battery levels, and charging station locations. It factors in speed, traffic, road type, and elevation to maximize range and minimize stops, enhancing convenience.

The “80% charge limit” feature for AC charging provides flexibility, allowing drivers to cap charging at 80% to preserve battery life and speed up daily recharges. Meanwhile, the V2L capability transforms the E-208 into a mobile power source, capable of charging devices like e-bikes with a bidirectional adapter (available separately) delivering up to 3.5 kW and 16 A.

All Peugeot 208 models gain a new multifunction video camera for improved safety, a fresh Okenite White color, and reclassified hybrid engines (HYBRID 110 hp and 145 hp) to meet Euro 7 standards. With an 8-year/160,000 km warranty, Peugeot reinforces its commitment to quality.

These enhancements cement the E-208’s leadership in the electric B-segment, blending style, efficiency, and innovation.
