MAHWAH, N.J. – The Polestar 2 all-electric fastback has been named a winner on “Wards 10 Best UX” (User Experience) list for 2021. Now in its sixth year, the list — curated by influential automotive information leader WardsAuto — recognizes outstanding touchscreens, voice control systems, connectivity, driver-assistance technology features, and overall user-friendliness.

This is the second time Polestar 2 has been awarded by WardsAuto this year. Earlier this fall, Polestar 2 was also awarded as one of the ”2021 Wards 10 Best Engines & Propulsion Systems” winners.

“Receiving the ‘Wards 10 Best UX’ award is proof that Polestar’s dedication to innovation translates into a great user experience,” said Gregor Hembrough, Head of Polestar North America. “Receiving the Wards 10 Best Engines & Propulsion Systems award and the Wards 10 Best UX award within months of one another signals that the Polestar 2 is one of the most attractive EVs on the market.”

A leading provider of automotive insights and analysis, the experts at WardsAuto are renowned for evaluating the best automotive technology and engineering available each year. The all-electric Polestar 2 receives the accolade for UX systems thanks to its Android Automotive OS infotainment system with leading voice control. The Google Assistant – a virtual assistant integrated in the vehicle – enables control of functions using natural voice commands, including navigation through Google Maps, the climate system, radio, phone and more.

As the first vehicle on the market to feature the Google-developed infotainment system, the Polestar 2 proved itself to be a frontrunner amongst 33 total test vehicles.
