Polestar Announces ‘2 on Tour’ National Test Drive Program for the United States

MAHWAH, N.J. – Polestar the electric performance car brand from Sweden, today announced the schedule for its 2 on Tour test drive program. From August to December 2021, a fleet of Polestar 2 vehicles will embark on a 33-stop cross-country road trip, giving people throughout the United States a closer look at the all-electric fastback.

The tour will run for more than 125 days, introducing Polestar 2’s advanced performance, design and technology to fans and potential customers. Test drives will also be available,  providing the opportunity to experience the vehicle’s engaging driving dynamics and revolutionary Google infotainment system.

“Navigating across 21 states, 2 on Tour will bring more awareness of the Polestar 2 in locations that have a new Polestar retail location, or one opening soon,” said Gregor Hembrough, Head of Polestar in North America. “With Polestar’s retail footprint expanding to over 25 US markets by the end of  this year, the time was right to get the product into the market where people can experience firsthand.”

For those who are unable to attend one of the tour stops but are interested in seeing the car in person, the brand’s ever-expanding retail network offers test drives and a relaxed shopping environment without the hard sell. Current locations include Austin; Bellevue, WA; Boston, Detroit, Denver, San Francisco (Corte Madera and San Jose), Los Angeles, Minneapolis; New York, Princeton, NJ; and Scottsdale, AZ. The following locations will be open for test drives, purchase, and service in the coming weeks: Orange County, CA; Central New Jersey; Charlotte, NC; Grapevine, TX.
