Porsche recently held the e-Performance Days at Silesia Ring in Poland, where 28 journalists from automotive and lifestyle sectors experienced the brand’s latest electric vehicles and concepts firsthand. The event featured test drives of the newest Porsche Taycan and the all-electric Macan, as well as the unveiling of the prototype GT4 e-Performance.

During the e-Performance Days, journalists had the opportunity to explore the capabilities of Porsche’s electric vehicles under various conditions. The event offered track drives that allowed participants to test the performance of the Taycan on the circuit. Additionally, a slalom course was set up for the all-electric Macan, demonstrating the SUV’s handling and agility.
The Taycan drift training session provided an exciting experience, showcasing the electric drive’s control in extreme conditions. Porsche instructors guided the journalists through the process, emphasizing the vehicle’s dynamic capabilities.
A significant milestone was achieved when Austrian racing driver Klaus Bachler set a new lap record at Silesia Ring. Driving the prototype Porsche GT4 e-Performance, Bachler completed the lap in an impressive 1:33.319 minutes.
Porsche also presented two iconic models for static display: the Mission R and the 99X Electric. The Mission R, an all-electric concept race car, offers insight into Porsche’s vision for future customer motorsports. The 99X Electric, representing the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team, underscores the brand’s commitment to top-tier electric motorsports.
At the conclusion of the event, journalists were invited to participate in exhilarating taxi rides with professional drivers. They had the choice between riding in the Porsche GT4 e-Performance with Klaus Bachler or the Taycan Turbo GT equipped with the Weissach package, driven by a Porsche instructor.
