In an electrifying race through Miami’s streets, Pascal Wehrlein demonstrated exceptional skill, overcoming a ninth-place start to claim victory. A strategic move during the safety car period proved pivotal, allowing him to take and hold the lead. Meanwhile, António Félix da Costa, starting third, faced misfortune when the safety car emerged during his Attack Mode, yet he battled back to secure a podium spot.
Florian Modlinger, Director of Factory Motorsport Formula E, praised the effort: “An amazing double podium here in Miami… A win and P3 is a mega result, and having three Porsches in the top four is an amazing result for Porsche.” Wehrlein called it “a crazy race,” crediting strategy and luck, while da Costa, despite a painful setback, vowed to “avenge this one in Monaco.”
This success boosts Pascal Wehrlein to third and António Félix da Costa to second in the Drivers’ Championship, with the team leading the Teams’ Championship. Porsche’s customer teams also excelled, reinforcing the brand’s dominance in electric racing.
