ProLogium Unveils Fully Inorganic Battery at CES 2025

At CES 2025 in Las Vegas, ProLogium Technology captured global attention with the debut of its fourth-generation lithium-ceramic battery (LCB) system. This innovation features a fully inorganic electrolyte, addressing critical concerns in the electric vehicle (EV) market, including total cost of ownership, range anxiety, and safety. Founder and Chairman Vincent Yang highlighted the company’s mission to bring next-generation batteries to market, targeting pilot production by the end of 2025.

Key Highlights:

  • Fully inorganic electrolyte technology eliminates all organic content, boosting energy density and safety.
  • Rapid charging capabilities achieve 60% capacity in 4 minutes and 80% in 6 minutes.
  • Enhanced cold-weather performance, maintaining consistent range at extreme temperatures.
  • Industry-leading safety features eliminate combustible gas risks and prevent thermal runaway.
  • Commitment to sustainability through a circular system achieving over 80% material recovery.

Fully Inorganic Electrolyte: A Game-Changing Advancement

ProLogium’s fourth-generation LCB battery increases inorganic content from 90% to 100%, delivering superior energy density, improved charging speeds, and reliable low-temperature performance. This innovation sets a new standard in EV battery technology, with energy density surpassing traditional lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries by up to 150%.

Building on our success, we’re nearing our 2026 target of surpassing 450Wh/kg and 1000Wh/L with lithium metal anodes,” said Yang.

Revolutionizing EV Performance

ProLogium’s battery advancements directly address barriers to EV adoption:

  • Extended Range: The system delivers exceptional energy density, reducing vehicle weight and cost.
  • Refueling-Like Fast Charging: Achieving 60% capacity in just 4 minutes redefines EV convenience.
  • Reliable Cold-Weather Operation: ProLogium batteries excel even at -20°C, ensuring predictable performance.
  • Safety Leadership: The fully inorganic electrolyte is non-flammable, even under extreme conditions.

Sustainability and Industry Collaboration

At CES, Yang emphasized the need for innovation in battery chemistry to support sustainable EV ecosystems. ProLogium’s collaboration with FEV aims to combine high-energy-density cells with advanced engineering for lighter, more efficient EV designs.

Dr. Thomas Hülshorst of FEV added, “By combining ProLogium’s forward-thinking technology with FEV’s engineering expertise, we are shaping the future of sustainable transportation.

ProLogium is also advancing sustainability with a circular system that enhances the value of second-hand vehicles and reduces waste through material recovery.
