smart UK has selected Ohme as its new official home EV charging partner. This collaboration will see Ohme providing its dynamic charging solutions to support smart UK’s growing electric vehicle lineup, including a complete home charging package.

- Chargers will be displayed in smart retailers, allowing customers to explore the offering firsthand.
- Full installation service and retailer training will be provided by Ohme to ensure a seamless experience for smart owners.
- Dynamic charging technology by Ohme allows users to optimize charging costs by accessing off-peak energy tariffs.
The partnership enables smart UK to recommend Ohme chargers to customers needing home solutions. Ohme will also provide comprehensive services, including installation and retailer training, ensuring smart owners experience smooth integration of charging infrastructure into their daily lives.

Ohme’s dynamic EV chargers are designed to work with live grid data and are compatible with any UK energy tariff, including some of the most affordable rates from providers like Octopus and OVO. Their chargers automatically adjust to optimize charging costs and provide access to the smartest, greenest, and lowest-cost energy options. Additionally, Ohme chargers come with a solar boost function to further reduce grid reliance.
Using an Ohme dynamic tariff, like Intelligent Octopus Go, charging a smart #1 with a 62kWh battery could cost as little as £4.34. Ohme also provides users with the option to charge when renewable energy generation on the national grid is at its highest, thereby minimizing their CO2 footprint.
Ohme has also established itself as the official charging provider for Motability Operations, Mercedes-Benz UK, and Athlon business leasing.
