Stellantis Pro One, a leader in zero-emission solutions, has announced the expansion of its hydrogen fuel cell vehicle production. The company now starts in-house production of both mid-size and large vans in Europe, further strengthening its position in the commercial vehicle industry. This move is a significant step in Stellantis’ zero-emissions strategy and aligns with its “Dare Forward 2030” plan.
Stellantis Pro One offers a diverse range of electrified options in commercial vehicles, including internal combustion engine, battery electric, hydrogen fuel cell, and range extender variants. With this expansion, the company aims to meet the growing demand for environmentally friendly transportation solutions.
The in-house production of hydrogen fuel cell vans is set to take place in Hordain, France, and Gliwice, Poland. This development will complement the existing hydrogen solutions for mid-size van lineups and introduces large vans to the market. The new fuel cell vans boast impressive ranges of 400 km for mid-size and 500 km for large vans, with refueling times of just 4-5 minutes.

Stellantis holds a dominant position in the commercial vehicles sector in Enlarged Europe, with over 40% market share in BEVs, and strong standings in South America, the Middle East, Africa, and North America. The company’s dedication to zero-emissions vehicles is a cornerstone of its strategic vision for the future.
The lineup includes eight fuel cell hydrogen versions of mid-size and large vans: Citroën ë-Jumpy and ë-Jumper, Fiat Professional E-Scudo and E-Ducato, Opel/Vauxhall Vivaro and Movano, and Peugeot E-Expert and E-Boxer. These models are tailored for intensive customer use, offering short refueling times and no compromise on payload capacity.
