Tellus Power has partnered with payments company Nayax to combine its AC Level 2 Charger with integrated payment and network-management software in a single platform for commercial EV charging operators. The partnership, announced this week, targets operators who currently coordinate separate vendors for charging hardware, payment processing and network management. Irvine, California-based Tellus Power, which builds bi-directional energy transfer systems, says the combined offering will let operators access charging, payments and management together while still integrating their existing vendors through open industry standards.
Highlights
- The integrated solution pairs Tellus Power’s AC Level 2 Charger with Nayax’s payment and management capabilities in a single offering.
- Operators retain the ability to connect existing vendors through open industry standards.
- Tellus Power and Nayax are demonstrating the combined platform at Power2Drive Europe 2026 in Munich, June 23–25 (Tellus Power, Hall C6, Booth 155; Nayax, Hall B6, Booth 355).
- As of March 31, 2026, Nayax reported 13 global offices, approximately 1,250 employees and connections to more than 80 merchant acquirers.
What the Partnership Combines
The integrated solution brings together Tellus Power’s AC Level 2 Charger and Nayax’s payment and management capabilities, which the companies say will give charging operators a single offering covering hardware, transactions and network management. According to Tellus Power, the platform is designed to reduce the number of disconnected systems operators must coordinate, while preserving the flexibility to work with existing vendors through open industry standards.
Tellus Power, which describes itself as a developer of bi-directional energy transfer systems for fleet and passenger vehicle charging, frames the Nayax tie-up as part of that single-platform approach.
Why a Single Platform?
Commercial charging deployments often require operators to manage multiple vendors across charging hardware, payment processing and network management — complexity the company says can slow deployment.
“They shouldn’t have to piece together charging hardware, payments and management software from multiple vendors to build and scale a successful charging business,” said Mike Calise, CEO of Tellus Power. “By partnering with Nayax, we’re bringing those capabilities together in a single platform that helps operators get to market faster, operate more efficiently and deliver the seamless experience we believe customers expect.”
Nayax’s Role
Nayax, listed on the Nasdaq and Tel Aviv exchanges under the ticker NYAX, is a global commerce and payments platform. As of March 31, 2026, the company reported 13 global offices, approximately 1,250 employees and connections to more than 80 merchant acquirers.
“Tellus Power is a strong example of what becomes possible when an advanced charger and an open payments platform are built to work together from day one, and we’re proud to bring that integrated experience to operators worldwide,” said Jason Zarillo, President of Nayax Energy.
European Rollout and AFIR
The companies position the partnership as a fit for European requirements, where regulations such as the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) are setting expectations for more accessible EV charging. Tellus Power says the combined platform is intended to help small and medium-sized businesses meet those expectations by bringing AC charging, payments and management into one system.
