U POWER Group, a global leader in new energy charging and battery swapping technology, has officially launched its UOTTA Universal Battery Swap Station. This new modular station aims to create a diversified and intelligent charging and battery-swapping experience, offering enhanced efficiency and flexibility compared to previous models.

Key Highlights:

  • Enhanced AI-based control: Features AI logic commands and digital twinning for optimized efficiency.
  • Modular design: Supports combinations of different hardware systems like lifting platforms and battery cabinets, meeting the needs of multiple vehicle types.
  • Scalable technology: Offers automatic and semi-automatic control modes to adapt to different investment levels.
  • Global adoption: Developed based on feedback from international partners in Thailand, Peru, and Portugal.
  • First compatibility: Currently compatible with multi-purpose pickup trucks, with plans for small passenger cars and vans.

The UOTTA Universal Battery Swap Station features a more rational overall layout compared to previous versions. The underlying structure incorporates AI-based logic commands, enabling the system to predict customer needs effectively. The integration of digital twinning in the cloud further enhances the control and maintenance systems, leading to reduced operational costs and failure rates.

This modular swap station simplifies its configurations by combining different hardware components such as lifting platforms, battery cabinets, and RGV systems. This approach provides flexible combinations that cater to a wide variety of vehicle types, making it suitable for a more diverse fleet. Customers also have the option to choose between automatic or semi-automatic control modes, which helps minimize initial investment while retaining scalability.

The universal swap station, launched in response to customer demands in regions such as Thailand, Peru, and Portugal, integrates AI technology for better user experience. The modular design allows for future expansions without the need to discard prior investments, ensuring longevity and adaptability in the evolving electric vehicle market.

Since its introduction in 2019, the UOTTA swap station has undergone continuous optimization and iterative upgrades. Customer feedback has played a crucial role in shaping the current product, leading to an innovative solution that aligns with international market needs.

Initially, the first batch of compatible vehicles includes multi-purpose pickup trucks. Compatibility will soon extend to small passenger cars and vans that utilize the same battery module. U POWER Group has already received letters of intent from partners in Thailand and Peru, with the first batch of products expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2025.
