PreZero is dedicated to sustainability and minimizing its environmental footprint. By adopting electric trucks, the company advances its goal of achieving zero-exhaust emissions in its transport operations. These trucks eliminate tailpipe emissions and operate more quietly than diesel counterparts, benefiting urban areas like Stockholm, where PreZero operates, with cleaner and quieter surroundings.

Stefan Strand, Managing Director of Volvo Trucks Sweden, stated: “We are very happy and proud of the trust that PreZero puts in Volvo Trucks with this order for more battery-electric trucks from us. PreZero is truly leading the way by converting its transport to zero exhaust emissions.”

Mårten Widlund, CEO of PreZero, added: “We feel that Volvo Trucks is at the forefront when it comes to innovative development in safety and the environment. Volvo’s high quality and extensive service network also give us security in our production.”

The order primarily features 24 Volvo FM Low Entry trucks, tailored for electric use in urban settings with superior visibility and heavy-load capacity. PreZero also acquires ten Volvo FM Electric trucks and one Volvo FL Electric, noted for top safety ratings. All include Volvo Dynamic Steering and camera-equipped mirrors for enhanced safety.

Volvo Trucks leads globally with eight electric models, delivering over 4,900 units across 49 countries since 2019. Its strategy targets net-zero emissions by 2040 using electric and renewable fuel technologies.

PreZero, part of the Schwarz Group, operates in ten European countries, serving 40 Swedish municipalities and 30,000 companies with waste and recycling solutions, aligned with science-based sustainability goals.
