The 2025 Honda Prologue strengthens its position as a leading electric vehicle, having been the best-selling non-Tesla EV in America in Q4 2024. It features an upgraded front power unit that boosts its EPA range to 308 miles and enhances power outputs. Pricing remains steady, starting at $47,400 MSRP, with an effective price as low as $39,900 after the federal tax incentive, offering great value in the competitive EV market.

Key Highlights

  • Range Boost: EPA range now 308 miles for 2WD models, up 12 miles.
  • Power Upgrade: 2WD models deliver 220 hp, AWD models 300 hp.
  • Unchanged Pricing: Starts at $47,400 MSRP, $39,900 after tax incentive.
  • Charging Solutions: Three comprehensive packages included in MSRP.

“When the Honda Prologue quickly soared to the top of the EV sales charts as one of the best-selling EVs in America, it was incredibly reassuring to hear buyers tell us the number one reason for their purchase was their trust for the Honda brand,” said Jessika Laudermilk, assistant vice president of Honda National Auto Sales. “For 2025, the Prologue will have even more driving range and power, further improving its class-leading combination of attributes our key competitors can’t match.”

The 2025 Prologue’s upgraded front power unit increases the EPA range to 308 miles for two-wheel drive (2WD) models, a 12-mile improvement, while all-wheel drive (AWD) models see ranges of 294 miles for EX and Touring trims and 283 miles for the Elite. Power rises to 220 horsepower (+8 hp) and 243 lb.-ft. of torque (+7 lb.-ft.) for 2WD, and 300 horsepower (+12 hp) and 355 lb.-ft. of torque (+25 lb.-ft.) for AWD. Available in EX, Touring, and Elite trims, it includes standard features like 19-inch alloy wheels, Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Honda Sensing.

Pricing starts at $47,400 for the EX 2WD, with AWD models and higher trims ranging up to $57,900 for the Elite AWD. All qualify for a $7,500 federal tax credit, potentially lowering the effective cost to $39,900. Honda enhances convenience with three charging packages—covering home stations, portable kits, and public charging credits—plus access to over 100,000 DC fast-charge points across North America by 2030, including networks like Tesla Superchargers and Electrify America. With fast-charging rates up to 150 kW, the Prologue remains a top choice for EV buyers.
