Kia America has announced the pricing details for the 2025 Sorento PHEV, which starts at an MSRP of $47,990. The updated model features a refreshed exterior design and a modern, tech-savvy cabin, enhancing the overall ownership experience. With a new EX trim, the Sorento PHEV aims to cater to the digital needs of today’s consumers, offering a confident and bold character.

The 2025 Kia Sorento PHEV has undergone several enhancements to improve its aesthetic appeal and functionality. The new standard lighting elements and exterior color options contribute to its sleeker, more distinctive look. Additionally, the 19-inch alloy wheels add to its bold stance.
Inside, the Sorento PHEV features a standard panoramic instrument panel and advanced technology. The SX-P trim, in particular, stands out with a curved panoramic panel with 12.3-inch dual screens, offering Kia’s ultra-modern Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) operating system. This system provides faster processing speeds and Over The Air (OTA) update capabilities, ensuring that the vehicle’s technology remains up-to-date.

In terms of performance, the Sorento PHEV is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged GDI I-4 engine paired with a 66.9 kW electric motor and 13.8 kWh battery. This combination delivers power through a 6-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle boasts an EPA-estimated 74 MPGe combined and an EPA-estimated all-electric range (AER) of 30 miles, making it ideal for short city drives. All-wheel drive is standard, enhancing its versatility and capability.
Notable driver convenience systems added to the 2025 Sorento models include Smart Cruise Control-Machine Learning (SCC-ML) and Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA-2). These features are designed to adapt to driving styles and help the vehicle maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, stay within lane markers on select highways, and assist with lane changes under specific conditions.
