Powertrain and Architecture
Alpine constructed the A390 on an optimized electric architecture designed to balance agility with everyday utility. The entry-level GT variant develops 400PS, accelerating from 0–62mph in 4.8 seconds.
The range-topping GTS increases output to 470PS and 824Nm of torque. This powertrain configuration propels the vehicle to a top speed of 136mph. All models feature all-wheel drive supported by three electric motors.
Charging and Range Capabilities
The vehicle integrates a high-performance 89kWh Lithium-ion NMC battery across all trim levels. This unit delivers a maximum range of 345 miles on the WLTP cycle, subject to final homologation.
For rapid charging, the A390 supports DC speeds up to 190kW, enabling a 15–80% charge in approximately 25 minutes. AC charging standards vary by trim; the GT includes an 11kW bidirectional charger, while the Premiere Edition upgrades to a 22kW unit.

Chassis and Braking Technology
Engineers prioritized driving feel by equipping the A390 with Alpine’s unique Active Torque Vectoring system. This setup utilizes two independent motors on the rear axle to actively manage torque distribution, aiming to replicate the agility of the lighter A110.
Braking hardware consists of Alpine-branded 6-piston monobloc front calipers across the range. Wheel and tire packages vary, with the GT utilizing 20-inch wheels on Michelin Sport EV tires, while the GTS adopts 21-inch forged wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S rubber.
Interior and Digital Cockpit
The interior features the “Alpine feel@one” cockpit, anchored by a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 12-inch multimedia screen. These interfaces include Google built-in services, an EV route planner, and Alpine Telemetrics.
Standard equipment includes a Devialet high-fidelity audio system and options for Alpine Sport or Sabelt bucket seats. Practicality remains a focus, with seating for five and a 532-litre boot.
