Boulder City Police Get EV Charging Boost

TurnOnGreen, Inc. recently partnered with Boulder City, Nevada, to complete an electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure project for the city’s police department. The project, finalized on October 9, 2024, includes multiple Level 2 high-powered EV charging stations and a 120kW dual port DC Fast Charger. This initiative supports Boulder City’s shift towards sustainable fleet management by providing essential charging facilities for their police EV fleet.

Key Highlights:

  • EV charging stations installed: Multiple Level 2 EVP1900 stations and an FSP1200 120kW DC Fast Charger.
  • Charging capability: Level 2 chargers provide 45-55 miles of range per hour, while the DC Fast Charger adds 150 miles of range in 40 minutes.
  • Remote management: Boulder City will leverage TurnOnGreen’s network subscription services to remotely manage chargers, track energy use, optimize routes, and monitor vehicle state of charge.
  • Customized for municipal needs: The solution was tailored specifically for the daily demands of law enforcement fleet use.
