Electrify America and 4 Gen Logistics have launched the first phase of their electrification project at the Port of Long Beach, California. This new charging station, equipped with 30 Hyper-Fast chargers, aims to support 4 Gen’s fleet of zero-emission Class 8 trucks. The collaboration is part of Electrify America’s ongoing efforts to reduce emissions across Southern California, especially around major port areas.

- New charging station at Port of Long Beach features 30 Hyper-Fast chargers with speeds up to 350 kW.
- Supports 4 Gen Logistics fleet for efficient zero-emission drayage operations between the Inland Empire and the Port of Long Beach.
- Part of a broader Electrify America initiative, which includes 44 chargers across Rialto and Long Beach.
- Phase one of the project received funding from Electrify America’s $25 million ‘Green City’ investment.
Electrify America’s network expansion focuses on reducing tailpipe emissions around critical regions such as the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. The first phase consists of installing 44 chargers across Rialto and the Port of Long Beach to enable 4 Gen Logistics to operate zero-emission drayage trucks with increased efficiency.
The project is partially funded through Electrify America’s $25 million ‘Green City’ investment, aimed at supporting Medium and Heavy Duty electrification projects in Long Beach and the Wilmington neighborhood of Los Angeles.
