Network Expansion and Infrastructure Upgrades

Electrify America, which operates what it describes as the largest open hyper-fast charging network in the U.S., organized its 2025 efforts around three strategic priorities: Charge First, Charge Easy, and Charge Forward.

Charge First focused on continued network expansion, placing chargers in high-traffic locations. Charge Easy addressed the end-to-end user experience across all touchpoints. Charge Forward encompassed development and testing of new charging technologies.

Among the year’s notable infrastructure achievements, the company opened two large-format stations in California, each equipped with more than 20 chargers. These stations were designed to reduce congestion and streamline the charging process. Additionally, over 1,100 existing chargers were upgraded to Next-Generation units.

Our year-over-year growth isn’t just a sign of a strong company; it reflects a growing community of EV drivers who believe in an electric future — and we’re honored to be their charging provider along the way,” said Robert Barrosa, president and CEO of Electrify America.
