EV Connect and bp pulse have joined forces to introduce a robust fleet management solution designed to enhance efficiency and minimize energy costs. This collaboration integrates bp pulse’s Omega EV charge management software into the EV Connect platform, addressing the growing need for streamlined electric vehicle (EV) charging operations as fleet applications are projected to reach 5.7 million by 2025.

Key Highlights:

  • Integration of Omega Software: Omega, bp pulse’s EV charge management software, will now be available on the EV Connect platform, offering a comprehensive managed charging solution.
  • Enhanced Control and Efficiency: Fleet operators can benefit from real-time insights, optimized charging schedules, and reduced energy costs.
  • Focus on Diverse Fleet Needs: The solution caters to various fleet requirements, including depot, on-the-go, and home charging.
  • Historical Data Utilization: Provides detailed data for further optimization of charging operations.

With this integration, fleet operators can prioritize charging based on fleet needs and access real-time insights for informed decision-making, regardless of the charging location. The collaboration enables greater control over charging infrastructure, reducing energy costs and optimizing operational efficiency.

“At bp pulse, we remain steadfast in our mission to simplify electrification for diverse fleets, and collaborating with EV Connect on this endeavor marks an exciting milestone,” said Sujay Sharma, CEO of bp pulse Americas. “Our shared goal is to provide fleet customers with a comprehensive solution that addresses all aspects of their charging needs—no matter the location.”

Optimized Charging Management:

Omega orchestrates EV charging to optimize cost-effective solutions, while the EV Connect platform manages financial transactions, particularly for commercial fleet settings. This collaboration supports fleet operations where drivers bring vehicles home, offering simple reimbursement options and ensuring vehicle readiness.

“This collaboration between EV Connect and bp pulse brings unparalleled expertise in the electric vehicle charging industry,” said Jon Leicester, Vice President and Head of Commercial at EV Connect. “By integrating our platforms, we can offer a comprehensive management solution that caters to fleet operators looking to optimize electric fleet efficiency like never before.”
