Genesis Motor UK has set on-the-road pricing for the all-electric GV60 Magma, its first high-performance car, at £75,915 (about $102,485 at current exchange rates). The single-specification model is the production debut of the brand’s Magma performance line, building on the award-winning GV60 electric SUV. Order books open in July, with buyers able to register interest now through a Genesis Retailer Partner or online. The car is offered in nine exterior colors and two interior stitching options.

A New High-Performance Direction for Genesis

The model arrives with exclusive performance features, bespoke Magma design elements, five driving modes, and fast charging.
Powertrain and Performance
Powertrain upgrades give the Magma enhanced electric motors that spin to over 20,000 rpm, delivering 790 Nm of maximum torque and a peak 650 PS. According to Genesis, the 84 kWh battery enables acceleration from 0–62 mph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 164 mph, while fast charging takes the battery from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes. These manufacturer-reported figures place the Magma well above the standard GV60 in output.
The car sits lower and wider than the standard model, with a 20mm reduction in ride height. A dedicated rear bumper and rear wing spoiler increase aerodynamic efficiency to reinforce its performance-led handling.
Braking and Chassis
The Magma rides on 21-inch forged wheels fitted with Pirelli tires. Braking hardware includes 4-piston monoblock calipers and 400mm front brake discs, which Genesis says bring the car to a halt from 62 mph in 33.8 meters even under extreme driving conditions.
Interior and Driving Modes
Inside, the Magma features 10-way electrically adjustable artificial-suede bucket seats and matching interior trim, with a choice of Magma Orange or Ash White contrast stitching alongside aluminum detailing. A dedicated steering wheel gives access to driving modes via a ‘Magma’ button, including SPRINT mode and GT mode.
An electric Active Sound Design (e-ASD) system delivers a synthesized engine tone to harmonize interior and exterior acoustics. A 27-inch panoramic connected car Integrated Cockpit (ccIC) combines infotainment and driver display in a single unit.
