When activated, the system lowers the Air Ride Adaptive Suspension and prepares the chassis and cooling systems for optimal performance, allowing the Pickup to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in three seconds and the SUV in 3.5 seconds.
4-Wheel Steer and CrabWalk
The HUMMER EV’s 4-Wheel Steer system works by synchronizing all four wheels to reduce the turning radius and enhance overall maneuverability. This system also supports CrabWalk, a feature unique to GMC that enables the rear wheels to mimic the angle of the front wheels at low speeds, allowing the vehicle to move diagonally.
