Zeekr 7X Production Reaches 200,000 Units in Ningbo

Zeekr has built its 200,000th Zeekr 7X at the Ningbo Meishan Intelligent Factory. The company says the electric SUV is sold in more than 50 countries and regions, with monthly sales above 10,000.

Zeekr has built its 200,000th Zeekr 7X, with the milestone electric SUV rolling off the line at the Ningbo Meishan Intelligent Factory in Ningbo, China. Zeekr, the electric vehicle brand of Geely Auto Group, announced the milestone earlier this month and said monthly global sales of the model stayed above 10,000 units in July and August 2026. The company also reports that the 7X is now sold in more than 50 countries and regions.

Zeekr 7X Production at Ningbo Meishan

The Ningbo Meishan Intelligent Factory is one of Zeekr’s core manufacturing facilities. According to the company, the plant supports global supply of the Zeekr 7X along with other models in the lineup.

Zeekr describes the 200,000th unit as a new stage in the model’s manufacturing scale and global delivery capability.

“Reaching 200,000 vehicles is an important milestone, but it is by no means the end of the journey,” said Zhao Chunlin, Head of Manufacturing at ZEEKR. “We will continue to build every ZEEKR vehicle according to global standards and honour the trust placed in us by customers around the world.”

How Many Markets Sell the Zeekr 7X?

The company reports that the 7X reached more than 50 countries and regions within 15 months of beginning its European expansion in May 2025. Markets now span Europe, Oceania, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.

Zeekr says deliveries surpassed 10,000 units within 25 days of the model’s debut, which the company calls a delivery-speed record for a luxury electric vehicle.

Zeekr 7X Global Sales and Segment Rankings

In the first half of 2026, the Zeekr 7X ranked No. 1 in the midsize pure electric SUV segment in five markets, according to the company:

  • Hong Kong SAR
  • Australia
  • Malaysia
  • Mexico
  • Egypt

Zeekr also reports that monthly global sales of the 7X held above 10,000 units in both July and August 2026.

Zeekr 7X Safety Ratings and Testing

The 7X has earned five-star safety ratings from three programs: C-NCAP, Euro NCAP and ANCAP. Zeekr says the model was developed to consistent global standards across markets.

The company reports that the 7X also completed a 65 mph (105 km/h) rear-impact test. Separately, the model holds a Guinness World Records title for the narrowest gap driven through by an electric car while drifting.

Platform and Next Steps

The Zeekr 7X is built on the company’s Sustainable Experience Architecture. Zeekr says it plans further international expansion for the model alongside continued development of its product portfolio.
